About

A writer, in Granada.

I write from India and southern Spain — about how people actually live, what they carry, what they become.

01 The person

I grew up in India. I live in Granada, in southern Spain — a city built on top of other cities, where the architecture changes every few streets and the afternoon light makes everything look considered.

I didn't come here to write. I came for other reasons, and then I started writing, and then I couldn't stop.

I read constantly. I walk a lot. I think about the same questions most people think about — why we do what we do, what makes a life feel like it's going somewhere, what fiction knows that non-fiction doesn't. My writing is what comes out when I try to answer them for myself.

The books I kept weren't the ones with the best ideas. They were the ones I couldn't stop living with.

From Unfold — out July 13, 2026
02 The work

Seven books, over the next year and a half.

The first, Unfold, is out July 13, 2026. Each chapter takes a book that shaped how I think and pairs it with a story from my life — the moment the idea made sense, or didn't. Fifteen books, fifteen stories, one argument about how we actually learn. It is not a self-help book performing wisdom.

Six weeks later, a collection of short stories called The Fish Can Talk. Then three novels, then a trilogy.

The non-fiction is for people tired of reading the same five ideas in different packaging. The fiction is less polite. Both come from the same curiosity — how people actually live, what they want, what they carry, what they become.

03 The other things

Things I do when I'm not writing.

  • VirtusVeda
A small digital agency. Pays the bills. virtusveda.com
  • Akshara
A book formatting tool I built after hitting the problems of self-publishing myself. aksharakit.com
  • Soulnuma
An app I'm building. A long bet.

The agency pays the bills. The app is a long bet. The writing is the work I'd do whether anyone paid me for it.
